What’s On at Moreton Show 2025

Moreton Show 2025 promises a countrytastic day full of all things farming, food and family fun.
On Saturday 6th September Moreton Show will return to its beloved home in the beautiful Cotswold town, Moreton in Marsh. The Show was first held here on the first Saturday in September in 1949 and this tradition has continued ever since.
Moreton Show has grown vastly since 1949, but it remains a truly traditional agricultural show and a staple in the calendar. Save the date.
The Moreton Show Society have an exciting line up for the 2025 show. Turn your eyes to the skies as Broke FMX become airborne in the Grand Arena with their exhilarating quadbike stunts. The Grand Arena will also welcome the return of the ever-popular Livestock Grand Parade, the super show jumping Six Bar Challenge, the Hayman-Joyce Pony Club Pairs Relay and much, much more!
By popular request, the Attwell Farm Park feature will be returning to the Farmtastic Area this year, giving you the opportunity to meet lots of farm animals, including alpacas, chickens and sheep! The Oxford Sandy and Black Pig Society will also be back in the Farmtastic Area with their adorable piggies and piglets.
Moreton Show will be bursting with family fun including the fantastic Magical Musical Bike which can make every size of bubble, plus Circus Kevin with whom you can learn lots of circus tricks, Professor Crump who stands eight foot tall and is always causing mischief with a pocket full of tricks, Pole Tricks & Aerial Group who will be doing demonstrations and workshops again – as they were very popular last year – and there will be the children’s trail which will send you and your family around the whole show looking for checkpoints – kindly sponsored by Kitebrook Preparatory School.
The Cotswold Eco Tubs Horse Area will provide great entertainment with the return of the Arena Eventing Challenge which will take the competitors over 8-10 show jumps leading onto 6-8 portable and fixed cross-country fences and then finish over a final show jump. In addition, we welcome over thirty different Horse of the Year Show qualifiers and the Farrier competitions where farriers will fire up their forge to compete for the ‘Best Shod Foot’ crown… and many other competitions. The Hooky Heavy Horses will be in pride of place in the Hooky Horse Area – kindly sponsored by Hook Norton Brewery – when they’re not parading in the Grand Arena.
The Home & Garden Marquee will be a hive of activity with lots of well-supported classes returning: like huge homegrown fruits, beautifully arranged flowers, jars of homemade preserves, beautiful moments captured in the photography class and great crafts and bakes made by our younger exhibitors. The Committee have also introduced a few new classes, including the egg classes, which are an egg-cellent addition to the schedule and will provide some cracking competition!
Pedal Power vs Parkour combines the incredible skill, balance and power of a trials rider and the finesse of a parkour athlete. Both athletes will be vying to be your favourite in the Rural Attractions Ring. The Vintage Tractors will also be parading in the Rural Attractions Ring, showcasing how machines have evolved from the early 1900s to the beasts you see in the fields today. The Clumber Spaniels will be showing off their skills in the gundog demonstration and the Terrier Racing will also provide waggingly wonderful entertainment as these fierce little dogs race each other in a high-speed pursuit of a mop head.
Moreton Show 2025 will be a fun day out for all the family and the team cannot wait to welcome you on Saturday 6th September. Buy your early bird tickets now – until 31st July: www.moretonshow.co.uk.
