Moreton Show 2025 welcomes back Broke FMX!

Jul 31, 2025

Get ready for a high-octane day, as Moreton Show 2025 welcomes back the UK’s leading motorcycle display: Broke FMX. The daredevils will perform their breathtaking, heart-racing tricks in the Grand Arena on Saturday 6th September.

Broke FMX promise a performance like no other, as the thrill-seeking athletes jump 35 feet high in the air, pulling their gravity defying stunts over gaps approaching 100 feet – for the first time in 6 years!

Esther Watts, Attractions Secretary, said: “We’re extremely excited to welcome back Broke FMX back to the show this year. They’re renowned for their spectacular freestyle motocross performances, featuring skilled riders who execute daring jumps, flips and tricks with precision and flair. The crowd absolutely loved it when they performed at the show back in 2019 and we hope everyone is looking forward to seeing them again in 2025!”

Esther enjoyed a Q&A session with the team:

Q Give me a bit of background about Broke FMX:

A There are two people in our team, Josh Grinrod and John Pearson we both have over 15 years of experience in this line of work.

Q Best performance you’ve ever achieved?

A There’s not a single performance that stands out as ‘the best’ but we have both performed at top levels including at the London 02 and the Manchester MEN (AO Arena).

Q Why have they chosen this career?

A Both of us should have tried harder in school instead of doing this death-defying job!

Q What’s the most hair-raising moment?

A Ha ha there’s been a few! Riding shows in high winds would have to be the most hair-raising experience…

Q What would they be doing if it wasn’t this?

A On a nice beach, enjoying life!

Q How did you get into this line of work?

A We just started with small jumps… and they just kept getting bigger and bigger!

Q Do they get nervous before the performance?

A Yes, we’re always nervous because it’s so dangerous!

The Broke FMX team will be performing not once but twice at Moreton Show 2025, giving visitors ample opportunity to watch their tummy-turning stunts as Josh and John become airborne, all while they give an informative on-board commentary, and flying 35ft in the air!

A timetable for the Grand Arena will be available to preview on the Moreton Show website ahead of the show: www.moretonshow.co.uk.
