This Privacy Policy sets out how we use and protect any personal information that is given to us. Moreton-in-Marsh Show will respect your privacy and is committed to ensuring that all personal information provided to us will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Personal information is deemed to be any information that identifies a living individual.

We may update this policy periodically, we advise you to regularly check this page to make sure you are happy with any changes that may have been made.

Data Collected

Personal contact information (such as name, address, email, phone number) and/or financial information (such as credit or debit card or direct debit details) is collected via, show entries, membership requests, judges and stewards’ acceptance, and committee election. This data is collected for use only in the operation of the show and its associated events.

Data Storage

Personal information is stored on our secure server for as long as you are involved with the show, if we have had no contact from you within 3 years your data will be removed from our system and your file made inactive.

If you decide to cancel your membership, all personal details will be removed from our server and your file made inactive.

If you wish for your data to be removed from our system please contact the show office 01608 651908 or post@moretonshow.co.uk. All inactive files will be deleted from our server every 12 months.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact the show office as soon as possible. We will make sure any incorrect information is amended immediately.

Communication

You may be contacted via email or text regarding the operation of the show or its associated events. You can opt not to receive these at any time by contacting the show office 01608 651908 or post@moretonshow.co.uk

Information on exhibitors and their animals may be provided to other show or breed societies as outlined in individual class details, they may also be provided to DEFRA, Trading Standards, County Council departments, BCMS, SAC, and others having regulatory functions as well as the show societies veterinary, environmental health, legal and safety advisors. Your personal information will be treated as strictly confidential, we never pass on any personal information to third parties unless prior consent has been given.

Data Publicity

Exhibitor information such as name and location (Town and County only) is published in the show catalogue. Names of show officials such as Judges and Stewards will be published in the Show Catalogue and Schedules and may be given to other show officials to aid in the operation of the show. Results are published on our website and information about results may also be published and/or provided to the press and breed/show societies for publication.

We may photograph any exhibitor or other person on the Showground and store and use the images for use in the society publications and show advertising.

Security

Moreton Show is committed to making sure your privacy is protected. We have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your Personal Information.

Moreton-in-Marsh Show will not be held responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence.

Online Activity

Moreton-in-Marsh Show collect information from your visit to our site. This information is only used to track browsing patterns and cannot be used to identify you personally. When we do collect personal information, we will make it clear what it will be used for and what we intend to do with it.
