Forget Strictly, the most dynamic dancing this summer will be at Moreton Show on Saturday, September 2, when the JCB Dancing Diggers will be in the spotlight.
The monster machines will be performing throughout the day in the Grand Arena.
But they will not be the only big kit on show. The stunning line-up of vintage tractors is always a major draw, as is the array of combine harvesters on sale in some of the 350 trade stands. For the children, there’s also Tractor Ted.
The showground on the Batsford Estate in Moreton in Marsh will be a celebration of the very best in farming, food and family fun. There are terriers racing, falcons flying, ponies in fancy dress and climbing walls. The Countryside & Heritage section includes bee-keeping, ferrets, moles, insects and Shire horses.
Moreton Show is a real, traditional one-day agricultural show – probably the biggest in the country with some 2,000 animals on show and some top class equestrian competition, as horses and riders compete to qualify for the Horse of the Year Show.
