Moreton Show has launched an online fancy dress competition for children this summer.
The show is looking for the ‘Best Dressed Young Farmer’ and the winner will receive a Family Ticket to Moreton Show 2021.
Moreton Show’s Rose Smith said: ‘We’re so sad that we had to cancel this year’s show because of the Covid-19 pandemic but we decided we’d still like to have some fun for the children.
‘The next generation is important to the future of Moreton Show. Over the next few weeks, we’re staging some fun competitions so that children can still enjoy themselves with Moreton Show.’
The show is looking for photos of children dressed as farmers and entries should be sent to competitions@moretonshow.co.uk

Moreton Show, which celebrated its 70th anniversary last year, is the premier agricultural event in Gloucestershire and next year’s show is scheduled for Saturday, September 4th.
The event is famous for its livestock and horse competitions and its celebration of food produced by British farmers. It’s a big attraction for families, with displays of farming life in the ‘Farmtastic’ arena and action-packed displays in the Grand Arena.

Terms & Conditions
- The four competitions are online entry only.
- Entries for competitions 1,3,4 must be submitted by photograph to competitions@moretonshow.co.uk
- Entries for competition 2 must be submitted by email to competitions@moretonshow.co.uk
- No limit on number of entries in each competition.
- Entry in each competition is free
- Entries must be submitted by the closing date of Tuesday, September 1st 2020. No late entries will be judged.
- Winners to be notified by Saturday 5th September
PRIZES for each competition:
1st - Family Ticket to Moreton Show 2021, tractor model and £25
2nd - Tractor Ted dvd and £15
3rd - Tractor Ted colouring pack and £10
Competition 1 - Dress like a Farmer. Submit a photograph of a person dressed as a Farmer;
entrant any age.
Competition 2. Submit a guess of number of a) Balloons in Tractor and b) Red Balls in Tractor;
entrant any age.
Competition 3 - Farm Related Model using Recycled Packing. Submit a photograph of model;
entrant any age.
Competition 4 - Farm Related Model from Vegetables. Submit a photograph of model;
entrant any age.
Any child under 16, who enters all four competitions, will be eligible for the overall grand prize of a pedal tractor.
Names of those eligible will be entered in a draw and Grand prize winner will be selected on Saturday, September 5th
